Dear Parent Teacher Students Association:

Welcome to the Parent Teacher Student Association! This coming year will be a rewarding year for us all. The tradition of excellence continues here at Landstown High School & Technology Academy. The PTSA speaks and supports the students in our school, facilitates parental and teacher involvement promoting safety, communication, and academics.

Together, a strong PTSA can make a difference. We are a strong PTSA! Our goal is to develop opportunities for parents, teachers, and students to stay involved with each other and enhance the education received at LHS. Please consider becoming involved with the PTSA.

Why Should High School Parents Join the PTSA?

Students often discourage their parents from becoming involved at school. But we all know that at this age, students and parents have a real need to understand and communicate with each other and to work together for a common cause. It is at this time of life when our youth need us to work with them in solving some of the complex problems facing the home, the school, and the community. By joining the PTSA you are joining a group of parents who work with your school and its students to make a better school.

Greetings from your PTSA Board! We are looking forward to a productive year, but we need your participation to succeed. Joining the PTSA shows your children that you want to be involved in their education. Dues are only $5.00 per member and we encourage each parent, as well as high school student, to join. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and any adults that are interested in your child’s school are welcome to join. Please cut out the membership coupon below, complete it, enclose your membership fee (checks made payable to “LHS PTSA”) and send it to school in an envelope marked PTSA or you can mail it to:

Volunteers are needed throughout the year to assist with various PTSA and school activities. If you are looking for a spot to volunteer, we still have openings on our Board and we appreciate having a list of potential volunteers to call when a need arises. Even if you can’t commit to volunteering for a specific committee or time, we can call or email you when we need you and maybe you’ll be available to help. Click here for the PTSA Volunteer Form.
