This is a reminder that AP testing is being held from May 5-May 16. Make sure you are in your seat by 7:30 for AM exams and by 12:30 for PM exams. Please remember to bring pens, pencils, your student pack, and a calculator if necessary. Do not bring cell phones, MP3 players, food or drinks.
Sports Physicals for the 2008-2009 school year will take place at Landstown High School on Tuesday, May 27th, for girls and Wednesday, May 28th, for boys. The physicals will begin at 5:30pm and the cost is $20 (cash only please).
Time is running out to order your cap and gown for graduation. If you have not placed your order with Jostens, then you need to do so before May 19th. Go to Celebrate High School to complete the order before it’s too late.

The Junior Statesmen Summer Program is an opportunity for 1,300 high school students to take courses on the campuses of Princeton, Yale, Georgetown, and Stanford this summer. Students will attend classes six times a week and complete course work designed to increase their knowledge of government, leadership, and history. The program costs $4,450, which covers tuition, housing, meals, textbooks, and other academic expenses. Partial scholarships are available and are based on need and academic merit. Landstown High School is offering a new service, MySchool Mail, to keep parents, guardians, and other community members up to date on school news.
MySchool Mail is a subscription service that will allow you to have LHS news delivered to your e-mail.
It is also the new vehicle for delivery of the school newsletter.

You have been invited to attend one or all of the LHS SAT® Preparation Workshop sessions. The SAT® Preparation Workshops are designed to provide students with personalized, comprehensive lessons, practice essays and tests, test-taking strategies, and a teacher to assist with questions, reports, and feedback. Students will work independently and in cooperative groups. The Official SAT Online Course® and the Official SAT Study Guide® will be the main resources used. The SAT Online Course® is an online tutorial program designed by the same experts who developed the SAT®. In addition, all students attending the tutoring sessions will sign up to receive the daily SAT Question of the Day®. Students will be able to track their responses and identify the level of difficulty and track their progress statistically.
If you plan to take the SAT® anytime this year, you NEED to sign up for one or more sessions. The sessions run from 2:15 – 3:15 in Room 311 on the dates provided below. If you are interested, please complete the form below and return it to Ms. Johnson in the main office as soon as possible. Remember, you can sign up for more than one session and it is absolutely FREE.
