Principal's Message

            Landstown High School proudly opened its doors in 2001 with a student population of some 1500 students.  Today, we are pleased to provide a world-class education to nearly 2300 students. 
            Our Technology Academy features a curriculum designed for students with a keen insight and talent for technology.  Students enrolled in the Academy take the required academic subjects along with technology electives.  Students may choose from three major strands: pre-engineering technology, information technology, and entrepreneurship.  Approximately 100 new freshmen are accepted into our academy each year through an application process.
            Landstown High School is committed to producing well-rounded students through academics, athletics, and extra-curricular activities.  Our academic program has produced a school that has been fully accredited since its inception.  Our athletic program consists of more than 30 varsity and junior varsity teams.  Our extra-curricular program proudly boasts our band, chorus, orchestra, and drama departments along with a host of other clubs and activities.  I encourage each of you to enhance your high school experience through our after school program.
            Landstown graduates are now represented throughout the entire world in the collegiate arena, the armed forces, and the everyday workplace.  Landstown High School promotes an atmosphere where students can enjoy a climate showing mutual respect, high expectations, and an academically challenging curriculum.
