Cap and Gown Pictures

Seniors! You have to be excited about this!!

Cap and Gown pictures will be taken on Tuesday, February 16th, and Wednesday, February 17th, all day in the auditorium.

Seniors who wish to have their cap and gown pictures taken must go to the auditorium during lunch/study block or during late arrival/early release time.

Any student who does not have the above times available must see Mr. Siock for a pass.

Order forms and payment must be brought at the time of the picture.

Parent Convention--Steering Students to Success

Please join us at Landstown High School on Tuesday, February 23, 2010, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM for our Parent Convention--Steering Students to Success.

We enjoy working together with you to help all our students find success, and we look forward to yet another opportunity to do that.

If you do not have a registratration card, please access it here and return it to the LHS office by Friday, February 12th.

 

Sports Physicals

Spring sports physicals will take place on Wednesday, February 17th, in the LHS cafeteria at 5:30 PM.

Cost is $20, CASH ONLY.

Ring Dance

Ring Dance Tickets are on sale now!

Jan 25 to Feb 5 = $65
Feb 8 to Feb 19 = $70.
Feb 22 to March 5 = $75
March 8 to March 19 = $80

No refunds!! The only method of payment that will be accepted in March is cash.

Checks must have a valid driver's license number or social security number.

Landstown Cares

Landstown students and staff donated money to the earthquake relief for Haiti and are wearing hats today (January 27th) to show support for that effort.

The school raised $932 for Haiti in just ONE DAY!!

The generosity and consideration shown in the donations by students and staff are one example of the caring, quality individuals who walk the halls of LHS each and every day.

Way to go, Eagles!!!

Congratulations to Mrs. Krissy Sanderlin, our 2011 Teacher of the Year.

Mrs. Sanderlin teaches Journalism and English and sponsors our newspaper.

Mrs. Sanderlin rocks!! We are proud to have her represent Landstown High School and Technology Academy.

Advanced Technology Center Enrollment
The Advanced Technology Center (ATC) is enrolling now for next year. The ATC offers courses in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering/Manufacturing, and Marketing Education. Students need to return the ATC application to the guidance office. The early decision deadline is January 22, 2010. The ATC will accept applications from the guidance office after January 22nd based on space available. An application can be downloaded from www.imagineinnovatecreate.com, requested from your guidance counselor, or obtained by calling 648-5800, extension 0.

Congratulations, Dr. Springstead

Dr. Martha Springstead was recently voted as the District 2 Choral Music Educator of the Year for 2010.  District 2 is comprised of Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and the Eastern Shore.

Marketing--Entertainment Books

Marketing students are selling Entertainment books for $20.

The books can be purchased from any marketing student or a marketing teacher in the marketing office.
