Seniors! You have to be excited about this!!
Cap and Gown pictures will be taken on Tuesday, February 16th, and Wednesday, February 17th, all day in the auditorium.
Seniors who wish to have their cap and gown pictures taken must go to the auditorium during lunch/study block or during late arrival/early release time.
Any student who does not have the above times available must see Mr. Siock for a pass.
Order forms and payment must be brought at the time of the picture.
Please join us at Landstown High School on Tuesday, February 23, 2010, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM for our Parent Convention--Steering Students to Success.
We enjoy working together with you to help all our students find success, and we look forward to yet another opportunity to do that.

Spring sports physicals will take place on Wednesday, February 17th, in the LHS cafeteria at 5:30 PM.
Cost is $20, CASH ONLY.

Feb 22 to March 5 = $75
March 8 to March 19 = $80
No refunds!! The only method of payment that will be accepted in March is cash.

Landstown students and staff donated money to the earthquake relief for Haiti and are wearing hats today (January 27th) to show support for that effort.
The school raised $932 for Haiti in just ONE DAY!!
The generosity and consideration shown in the donations by students and staff are one example of the caring, quality individuals who walk the halls of LHS each and every day.

Congratulations to Mrs. Krissy Sanderlin, our 2011 Teacher of the Year.
Mrs. Sanderlin teaches Journalism and English and sponsors our newspaper.
Mrs. Sanderlin rocks!! We are proud to have her represent Landstown High School and Technology Academy.
Dr. Martha Springstead was recently voted as the District 2 Choral Music Educator of the Year for 2010. District 2 is comprised of Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and the Eastern Shore.
Marketing students are selling Entertainment books for $20.
The books can be purchased from any marketing student or a marketing teacher in the marketing office.
Congratulations Faculty and Staff! LHS has achieved the 2009 Board of Education Competence to Excellence Award. To achieve this recognition, we have met all state and federal benchmarks for at least two consecutive years and are making progress toward Governor Kaine’s goals for increased achievement and expanded educational opportunity.
