Hour of Code Event
During Computer Science Education Week, LHS will host an Hour of Code event in the Library Media Center on December 7 and 8 during each block. The Hour of Code is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in 180+countries, designed to demystify “code” and show that anybody can learn the basics while broadening participation in the field of computer science. Students enrolled in Academic Support Blocks may sign up to attend and participate in learning code during their entire ASB on either December 7 or 8 by no later than Monday, December 5. Students should see the Library Media Specialists if they have questions.

Student Parking Passes
Students who want to drive to school need to complete a Student Parking Application. To obtain a parking pass, students must have a completed application, valid driver's license, proof of insurance/vehicle registration, and cash or check (made payable to Landstown High School) for $45. Parking will be enforced beginning October 1.
Student Drop Off Process
Parents who wish to drop off students in the morning or pick them up at the end of the school day should use the designated student drop off site in the rear of the school. This student drop off site was established several years ago in an effort to better ensure the safety of our students and to give parents an easier egress to Concert Drive. The easiest way to access this area is to remain in the through lane on Concert until making the turn into the student parking lot. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this endeavor. Your child’s safety is important to us.
LHS Student LiveBinder
New to LHS this year, the LHS Student LiveBinder, a digital copy of the LHS Student Handbook, will be available online under the student section of the Resources tab of our school webpage.
